Eligibility

1. Academic Qualification/Training

Pathway I

  • Bachelor's degree in Optometry or orthoptist or equivalent.
  • No experienced required.

Pathway II

  • Diploma in Optometry or ophthalmic technology or ophthalmic assisting or orthoptics (or equivalent)
  • Four years of professional experience.
2. Be licensed or registered to practice Optometry or Orthoptics or Ophthalmic Assisting.

Has been licensed to practice optometry in one of these foreign jurisdictions (India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal and Sri-Lanka.
